Athletics

C. K. McClatchy High School has a long and proud athletic tradition. McClatchy participates in the Metro League, which is part of the CIF Sac-Joaquin section.

Student Activities

We strongly encourage all students to participate in an extracurricular program for reasons below:

• Extracurricular school activities and involvement in clubs and organizations are important in fostering the strengths of students. 
• Activity participation strengthens the school connection for all students.
• lastly,  it helps to build community among McClatchy students and strengthen relationships outside of school.
