PTSA Funded Mini-Grant Program

In an effort to assist teachers and staff with needed resources to benefit our students, C.K. McClatchy PTSA established the Mini-Grant Program. The PTSA has funded over $6,000 in teacher Mini-Grants during the last few years. 

Projects addressing the under served needs of the students and are not covered by other school funding sources ​have the highest priority for funding. Use of Grants has been used for a wide variety of items such as: enrichment activities, field trips, classroom equipment/supplies, software, and improvements to teaching and learning spaces.

On an annual basis and/or as PTSA funds allow, the PTSA Board accepts and reviews applications received from teachers and staff for mini-grants. The Board awards the mini-grant(s) based on established criteria. This usually takes place during the 3rd quarter of the school year. All teachers and staff are eligible.
