In the fall, several of the CKM Academic/Specialized Programs host an information night for interested students and their families. Humanities and International Studies Program (HISP), Law and Public Policy Academy (LPPA), Visual and Performing Arts Program (VAPA), AFJROTC, and the Criminal Justice Academy representatives participate in these presentations. Eighth graders and their parents are encouraged to attend.
Students interested in attending C.K. McClatchy may visit the campus in late Fall. The Humanities and International Studies Program (HISP) typically hosts these visitation days. Any student interested in attending CKM (regardless of his or her program of interest) is welcome.
Each February, school counselors begin visiting CKM’s feeder middle schools to register eighth graders to attend their neighborhood school for the fall. Counselors are not registering students for CKM’s specialized programs. You must apply through SCUSD’s Open Enrollment.
